II Food for thought Biblical Facts
There are four cardinal points designating Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter
1.) When the days and nights are equal, Winter ends and spring begins; it is called the Equinox. God's year begins in the Spring, the month of green ears (Abib). The first new moon after the equinox is Abib 1.
2.) The longest day of the year, Summer begins.
3.) When the days and nights are equal, Fall or Autumn begins, it is called the Fall equinox.
4.) The shortest day of the year, Winter begins. Winter ends at the Spring equinox completing the yearly cycle and these four cardinal points never change. God's days are from sunset to sunset. God's work week ends at sunset on the sixth day of the weekly cycle; also at sunset of the sixth day, God's seventh day Sabbath begins and ends at sunset of the seventh day which marks the beginning of the first day of the week.
In the twenty four hour period of Abib 14 about midnight, the death angel passed over the children of Israel, but destroyed the first born of Egypt both man and beast. This period of time was from sunset of the 13th until sunset of the 14th, making a period of twenty four hours in which this one time event occurred. At sunset of the fourteenth until the sunset of the fifteenth is the time prior of God's first Holy day of the year called the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This Feast ended at sunset of the twenty-first day of Abib, which is the second Holy Day of God's year. These are just simple facts and not a play on words; as are in many of man's articles arguing doctrine. Many argue that Christ died at the same time the lamb was killed in Egypt . Not so. The timing makes no difference as both died during the same time period being Abib 14 in both instances. The 14th of Abib was not and is not a Holy Day. The word Passover is used seventy-five times in the Bible. Try to find one that says on the 15th. Unleavened Bread is used sixty-five times, find one if you can, that says Unleavened Bread on the sixteenth or that both Unleavened Bread and the Passover events occurred in the same twenty-four hour period. All the Tecinal articles and play on words doesn't change these simple facts. The simple fact is since day one, man has wanted God to do things man's ways and there are many instances that God has just let man do things man's ways. God has let man use the term Passover in many instances that the day called the Passover period is Unleavened Bread, combining the Passover service with Unleavened Bread; man's way making the Passover period of twenty-four, the same as the first Holy Day of Unleavened Bread. Thereby, supposedly making the Passover period Holy; that is some man's way, but was never God's way. The Passover service was and is a local affair (God's way) in companies.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread was and is a Temple or Church affair (God's way). The killing of an innocent lamb in Egypt and using its blood as a covering to protect the Israelites from the death angel. The killing of Christ in 31 A.D. and shedding of His blood was a covering, giving man the opportunity to attain eternal life. The slain lamb was the symbol of Christ called the Lamb of God. Both died during the twenty-four hour period of Abib 14. The lamb at the beginning of the 14th, Christ at the ninth hour of the day period about 3 p.m. was put in the tomb just before sunset of the 14th; resurrected seventy-two hours later just before sunset of the 17th of Abib; being the seventh day of the week. Exodus 12:6, (18 Unleavened Bread Feast of); Leviticus 23:5 in Passover+23:6 on Unleavened Bread; Numbers 9:3 in Passover verse 5 Passover on 14th in wilderness, Feast of Unleavened Bread first kept in promised land, none in wilderness. Verse 11, 2nd month; verse 12, 13, 14, penalty for not keeping. Numbers 28:16 in fourteenth Passover of the Lord. Verse 17 in 15th day of Feast of Unleavened Bread first day Holy, verse 25 Holy day. Numbers 9 should put an end to the 15th Passover theory. The Israelite began keeping the Passover in the wilderness the second year, the Feast of Unleavened Bread began in the promised land thirty nine years later. The belief of Israel keeping the Passover just one time in the wilderness is a sad assumption. Verse 3 says in the fourteenth not after. Verse 5 says on not after. Why can't man just use a little common sense and just believe what God says. There is not one scripture mentioning Passover being in or on any day except the 14th and no scripture stating Unleavened Bread except Abib 15 through 21. There are several instances in my articles in this website that to some are offensive, this is initially done to try to wake up some of my brothers and sisters in Christ to study and think for themselves. If I succeed in helping just one, it will be worth the time and expense in doing so. God Bless and open the eyes of His elect from sleep.

Born Again? Or Just Begotten
I have been asked to do an article on the "Born Again 1 ' doctrine of most so-called Christian religions.
First, there is not one person who is alive and still in their freshly body who has been born again. Only one human has been born again, and that was Christ,
He is the only human that has ascended to heaven, and He took His body that had been changed to Spirit, with Him, (John 3:13;
As long as human will bleed, he is still flesh and not Spirit, A seed must die before it can become a plant. A human must die or be changed to Spirit at Christ's coming before he can become Spirit. At his resurrection he is then and only then truly born again, (John 3:3-8). Also read verse 12 and 13. Only after becoming Spirit, can man enter God's kingdom
If you are a Spirit, which you will be when you are born again? you cannot be seen by the human eye, just as you cannot see the wind. God afore knew all of those He would call before He laid the foundations of the world. (Romans 8:28-30, and (Ephesians J;5, 11).
All of those who He has called and is calling, who have answered His call, and have repented and been baptized and received His Holy Spirit, are begotten sons of God, but not yet born. / John 3:9 tells us that when we are born of God, we cannot sin. Tell me, who of us does not sin everyday? / John j:$ states that those born of God does not sin, but He that is only begotten of God keeps himself, and as long as he remains true to God, satan cannot get him (paraphrased).
Revelation 1:5 tells us that Christ is the first begotten of the dead. This being so, where is Abraham, David, Moses, and all the other Patriarchs'? They are dead and in their graves awaiting the resurrection, at which time they will truly be born again
John 3:5 tells us that physical man cannot enter God's Kingdom. Verse 6 tells us that we who are born of the flesh are flesh, and must be changed to Spirit to be born of the Spirit.
A Spirit being is invisible. Can people still see you? If so, then you are still flesh and have not been born again,
When you repent and are baptized and received God's Holy Spirit, you are begotten sons of God, but not yet born. When you are converted, you become a new creature- That's if you will yield to God's Spirit, it will nurture you, guide you, and protect you as you are commanded to strive for perfection.
Although you will never reach perfection in this physical life, you will become closer and closer to God and His Son. Those who He deems worthy will be born again at Christ's coming and be sons of God, and the brother of Christ in the truest sense. When you repent and are baptized and received God's Holy Spirit, and think you are born again, you in truth are only begotten of His Spirit, and become heirs to His kingdom, but not yet receive your inheritance.
Back to the beginning: John 3: /, Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews or Israelites, came secretly to Christ as he was afraid of his position with the sect of the Pharisees He and Christ had a discourse about Christ and the miracles He performed. Verse 3, Christ told him that a man had to be born again before he could see the Kingdom of God .
Nicodemus did not understand, just as the Christian world today does not understand what Christ said, nor does the Christian World even believe what Christ told Nicodemus. Christ said that to be born again, a humans molecular structure must be changed to Spirit because the Kingdom of God is Spirit, and flesh and blood cannot enter God's Kingdom.
There are many confusing things in the translation of the Bible The translators of the King James used the same Creek word to translate two totally different words, to be "begotten" or "to start* and be born (finish) are two totally different things The Greek word "Gennao" was used many times for both "begotten" and "
The Greek word "prototokos" is used only one time referring to a resurrection in the Bible, It means the first begotten or born from the dead. Don't you think if it meant a Christian repenting, being baptized, and receiving God's Holy Spirit, that it would have been used when the scriptures says, "born again? The word prototokos is used six other times, but they all refer to Christ, The answer is simple. It was used only once for resurrection when Christ was resurrected and changed to Spirit (Revelation 1:5) because until now. He is the only human that has been born again and and put on immortality. Why not study to be approved of God, instead of believing what a preachers says, when they themselves have not proven the things they preach. Think about it, Christ is the only one who now has immortality. (/ Timothy 6:16)
The doctrine of Born Again, while still in the flesh, is one of satan's favorite deceptions The so-called Christian religions of the world or at least most of them, take this deception even further and claim* , once saved, always saved. This is true statement, but not in a sense used by the religions. When you are convened and received God's Holy Spirit, you are not yet saved. You are then only qualified to be saved. "When you am dead in Christ," is not a very good term, but one that is used to mean "when you die" if you are in saved condition, then you are truly saved, and will be born again at the resurrection, or changed to Sprit at Christ's coming, if you are in saved condition.
Many people commit all kinds of sinful acts because they believe themselves to be saved no matter what they do. To believe such a deception gives satan the tools to do with you what he wants to do.
To be deceived by any satan's tricks will keep you out of God's Kingdom. Paul says in // Timothy 4:8, that God has a crown laid up for him when Christ returns. Christ says in Revelation 3:11, not to let some man take away the crown laid up for those who are His (paraphrased). Pan] said in / Corithians 9:24-27; "When I have preached to others, I myself should be found a castaway."
How could you be saved if you can lose the Crown God set aside for His elect before He created the world? The truth is only those who overcome evil, and keep God's law as Christ said, endure until the end, will be saved at His coming. Both those who are alive and those who died in a saved condition.

God's Law Still Valid or Void?
Matthew 5:17, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets, I am not come to destroy but fulfill." Christ in truth completed the law, in that He added the spiritual aspect to the law making it full. The physical law states that the act of adultery, (if you were caught) was punishable by stoning to death. Christ added the spiritual law by telling us that to even look upon a woman, to lust after her, we had already committed adultery in our heart. By adding the spiritual, in essence made the law complete, thereby He fulfilled it, it is the end of the law because no more can be added to it. But people it is far more binding upon us that it was when the law was only physical. Matthew 5:28, II Peter 2:14
Galatians 5:1 states that Christ has given us liberty from the law. This liberty is called grace. We all should know what a grace period is, when our automobile licenses expire, the state law gives us a fifteen day grace period in which to buy new tags and if we go beyond that date, then we go before a judge When we sin, God gives a period of grace from then until we die. If we have not repented of our sin before we die, then we will have to stand before the judge in the day of judgment. The freedom from the immediate penalty for sin, under grace is deferred until death, giving us the liberty to repent and evade the death sentence.
The scripture in Exodus 31:13-17 does not say that the sign of the Sabbath that is between God and Israelites was for a generation, but throughout their generations and was for a perpetual covenant which means never ending. When Christ came and gave the opportunity for salvation to the Gentiles (Romans 10:12), His promise was extended to them, that anyone who kept His Sabbaths became a part of His promise. Anyone who believes that the generations of the Israelites have ended, need only to read Jeremiah 31:35,36,37. I don't think any man can measure heaven or the earth, so until the time comes that man can measure heaven, then Israel will still exist. The word in II Corinthians 11:13 is not apostle, it is apostles. H.W.A. was not an apostle, there has not been an apostle of God since Paul, but there has been and still are many false apostles and preachers. The prophecy of the coming of the Messiah, His death and resurrection are the prophecies that Christ fulfilled. Christ was the God of the Old Testament, the Creator of all things. He took away the ordinances of the sacrificial system because He was and is our Passover lamb. Through His shed blood, man has redemption from eternal death. Christ did not fulfill any prophecies beyond His resurrection. To say that the law of God, His commandments are null and void is ludicrous. He, Christ is the God who wrote them with His own finger and states very clearly that to say you love Him and keep not His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him, I John 2:4, read also Matthew 19:17, John 14:15, I John 2:3, I John 5:3, Revelation 12:17, Revelation 14:12, Revelation 22:14, Jeremiah 31:31-37. years, When the seventh trumpet sounds will be the beginning of the last three and one half years when God pours out His wrath on the unrepentant world. This is the period of time when God will protect His called out ones', by stating a thousand sinners will fall on their left hand and ten thousand on their right, but not a hair on their head will be harmed. At the beginning of the seventh trumpet will also be the second coming of Christ, and the resurrection of the dead saints; and the changing to spirit, His chosen ones'. 5.) Atonement (at one with God), these are the ones' He chose as His elect (priests) who along with the angels, not only will help supervise the restructuring of the earth; but will teach the truth of God during the white throne judgment period, when Satan will be loosened his little period of time before his ultimate destruction in the lake of fire called Gehenna. 6.) The first day of the Feast of Tabernacles which depicts the thousand year reconstruction period when the remnants of God's called out ones' will destroy the cities of the world and live in temporary dwellings (as the children of Israel did during their wondering in the wilderness for forty years) while they build new cities in preparation for the second resurrection. 7.) The last great day depicts the white throne judgment, when all the physical people who have ever lived will be raised from the dead, and first be taught the truth of God and given their first chance to accept God and Christ and partake of the tree of life and live forever, or reject God's truth and be destroyed in the lake of fire; and the memory of them erased from the mind of the living The name woman is often used in the Bible to mean God's Church, and the bride of Christ , and when the Atonement occurs it is called the wedding of Christ and the Church, His bride. The woman (Church) in Revelation 12:14 is taken by an angel when Christ returns and the first resurrection occurs to a place of God's choosing , maybe the place Christ called paradise because the first resurrected ones' will be spirit beings. Revelation 12:14 says for a time, times and a half time which means three and one half years. This period of time is the last three and one half years of the tribulation while God is pouring out the seven last plagues on the unrepent humans on earth. As stated before, God's called out ones' who keep His commandments will be here on earth during this last plagues, but will be supernaturally protected from any harm. This is the fulfilling of the scripture Isaiah 65:20, when there shall be no more infant of days or old men that shall not live out their days; they will all die at a hundred years old during the thousand year period. The closing of the woman's womb will be at the end of nine hundred years, so as to fulfil I this prophesy. During the first nine hundred years; children will keep being born, but none will die until they are one hundred years old. At the end of the thousand years all will have died. This fulfills the scripture that says, blessed are those who die in the Lord, henceforth, Revelation 14:13, that they may rest from their labors. God will reward them at beginning of the judgment period for they will be sealed and live forever. THE CORRECT WAY TO COUNT PENTECOST
"In the month of Xanthicus, which is by us called Nisan. and is the beginning of the ye-ar, on the fourteenth day of the lunar month, when the sur) is in. 'Hie feast of unleavened bread succeeds that of the Passover, and falls on the fifteenth day of the month, and continues seven days, wherein they food On unleavened bread; on every one of which days two bulls are killed, and one ram, and seven lambs. But on the second day of unleavened bread, which is the sixteenth day of the month, they first partake of the fruits of the earth, for before that day they do not touch them. And while they suppose it proper to honor God, from whom they obtain this plentiful provision, in the lirsi plate, they offer the first-fruits of their barley, and that in the manner following: They laky a handful of the ears, and dry them, then beat them small, and purge the barley from the bran; they then briny one tenth deal to the altar, to God; and, casting one handful of it upon the tire, they leave the rest for the use of the priest. And after this it is that they may publicly or privately reap their harvest. They also at this participation of (he first-fruits of the earth, sacrifice a lamb, as a burnt-offering to God,

When a week of weeks has passed over after this sacrifice, (which weeks contain tony and nine days,) on the fiftieth day, which is Pentecost, bill is called by the Hebrews Asartha, which signifies Pentecost, they bring to God a loaf, made of wheat Hour, of two tenth deals, with leaven; mid for sacrifices they bring two lambs; and when they have only presented them to God. they are made ready for supper for the priests; nor is it permitted to leave any tiling of them till the day following. They also slay three bullocks for a burnt-offering, and two rains; and fourteen lambs, with two kids of the goats, for sins; nor is there anyone of the festivals bill in it they offer burnt-offerings; they also allow themselves to rust on every one of them. Accordingly, the law prescribes in them all what kinds they are to sacrifice, and how they are to rest entirely, and must slay sacrifices, in order to feast upon (.hem/' [hind of Quote (Taken from Joseph's, Antiquities of the Jews, Hook !5, Chapter 10:5-6)
7. The 16th Nisiin, Cutting the Barley Sheaf. This day was also called"the day after the Sabbath"; and on it the omer of the first produce of the harvest (i.e., barley) was waved before the Lord <'Lev. 23:10-14"--. (from New Unger's Bible Dictionary, originally published by Moody Press of Chicago, Illinois. Copyright (C) 1988.)
The Time of the Festival. The lime iked for celebrating Pentecost is the fiftieth day from "the day after the Sabbath" of the Passover <I,cv, 23 ;1 L15-16>; or, as given in <Dcut. 16:9>, seven full weeks after the sickle was put to the com. The precise meaning of the word Sabbath in this connection, which determines the date for celebrating this festival, has been from time immemorial a matter of dispute. The Boethusians and the Sadducees in the time of the second Temple, and the Karaites since the eighth century of the Christian era, have taken "Sabbath" in the sense of the "seventh day of the week" and have maintained that the omer was offered on the day following that weekly Sabbath that might happen to fall within the seven days of the Passover. This would make Pentecost always come on the first day of the week. Many arguments are presented against this, showing that such an opinion involves many arbitrary and improbable arrangements. Commenting on <Lev. 23:l5-22>, Keil and Delit/sch (Com., ad loc.) say that "Sabbaths (v, 15) signifies weeks. Consequently, 'the morrow after the seventh Sabbath1 (v, 16) is the day after the seventh week, not after the seventh Sabbath." It is therefore evident that the Jews, who during the second Temple kept Pentecost fifty days after the 16th Nisan, rightly interpreted the injunction in <23:15-22>, The fiftieth day, according to the Jewish canons, may fall on 5th, 6th, or 7th Sivan. (from New Ungcr's Bible Dictionary, originally published by Moody Press of Chicago, Illinois. Copyright (C) 1988.)
Leviticus 23:15 [Ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave-offering; seven Sabbaths] That is, from the sixteenth of the first month to the sixth of the third month. These seven weeks, called here Sabbaths, were to be complete, i. e., the forty-nine days must be finished, and the next day, the fiftieth, is what, from the Septuagint, we call Pentecost. See the note at <Luke 6:1 >. (from Adam Clarke Commentary)
Leviticus 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them. When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruils of your harvest unto the priest:
A sheaf of the first-fruits}-- a sheaf ['omer (heb 6016)], an omer of the first-fruits of the barley harvest. The barley being sooner ripe than the other grains, the reaping of it formed the commencement of the general harvest season; because previous to that, no Israelite could begin his harvest nor eat of the new grain. The offering described in this passage was made Cm the sixteenth of the first month (Abib or Nisan), the day following the first Passover Sabbath, which was on the fifteenth (corresponding to the beginning of our April), and the second day of the festival, the sixteenth of the month (Josephus, 'Antiquities,' book iii., ch. x., sec. 5); but it was reaped after sunset on the previous evening, by persons deputed to go with sickles and obtain samples from different fields. These being laid together in a sheaf or loose bundle, were brought 10 the court of the temple, where the grain was winnowed, parched, and bruised in a mortar. Josephus mentions that it was [qaaliy (heb 7039)] <Lev. 23:14> parched or dried before the fire, because the grain might not be generally ripe, (from Jamicson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary)
Leviticus 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the 1 X>RD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
[The morrow after the Sabbath- i. e,, the day after the Sabbath, not the weekly Sabbath, but the first day of unleavened bread, which was to be kept as a Sabbath; because upon it there was to be a holy convocation, and no servile work was to be done. After some incense had been sprinkled on it, the priest waved it aloft before the Lord toward the Tour different points of UK-compass, took a part of it and threw it into the fire of the altar, all the rest being reserved lo himself. It was a proper and beautiful act, expressive of dependence on the God of nature and providence-- common among all people, but more especially becoming the Israelites, who owed their land itself, as well as all it produced, to the divine bounty. The offering of the wave-sheaf sanctified the whole harvest (<Rom. 11:16>: sec the notes at <Deul. 26:5-10). At the same lime this feast had a typical character, and pre-intimated the resurrection of Christ <l Cor 15:20>, who rose from the dead on the very day the first-fruits were offered, (from Jamieson, Fausset. and Brown Commentary)
Keviticus 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:
| Ye shall count... from the morrow after the Sabbath]- i. e., after the first day of the Passover week, which was observed as a Sabbath, (from Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary)
Leviticus 23:11 [On the morrow after the Sabbath] It is most probable that these words denote the 16th of Abib, the day after the first day of holy convocation (sec <I,ev, 23:5-8> note), and that this was called "the Sabbath of the Passover", or, "the Sabbath of unleavened bread", (from Barnes' Notes)
Comment: As the Book of Josephus and other sources clearly show, the waveshualh offering was done on the second Day of Unleavened Bread, NOT on the Sabbath between the first DUB and the Last DUB. With this in mind, it appears quite plain that, the Sabbatarian Church of(Jod in general has been counting Pentecost Incorrectly all of these years. The church has been wrong on both counts of celebrating Pentecost on a Sunday or on the day after on Monday, Either of these two days to observe Pentecost is wrong because they start counting from the wrong day, .losephus and the commentaries mentioned above clearly show that the counting begins on the second Day of Unleavened Bread (the "morrow after the Sabbath," as stated in I,ev.23:11,15), NOT on the Sabbath between the First DUB and Last DUB. With this in mind, Pentecost will usually occur on fiivan 5, 6 or 7 each year, and is variable depending on how the Days of Unleavened Bread fall in any particular year. It is the author's contention that many brethren in the true Church of God will eventually come to this understanding, as God sees fit to clarify truth and bring back unity into His church.
From a brother.
Is the doctrine of counting Pentecost from the weekly Sabbath that occurs during the feast of Unleavened Bread biblical? I have found no such scripture. The scripture simply says the Sabbath that follows Passover. All original translations of the original Hebrews says feast of weeks not Sabbaths: The Torah, Septuagiant, Latin Vulgate says seven weeks not seven Sabbaths, as some of the Sunday translators states in the modern translations. Even the Jewish Tanakh which is basically the modern Masoretic text states seven weeks. Passover can be on any day of the week during the month of (Green Ears) Nisan or Abib on the 14th day of the first month. When Passover occurs on a Sunday, the doctrine of counting Pentecost from the weekly Sabbath presents a problem; if you follow the scriptures. ALL translations states that you cannot partake of the new grain roasted or otherwise until the wave sheaf is offered. Also the sheaf of grain which represent God's elect cannot be accepted by God in man's behalf until the wave sheaf is offered to God. The feast of Unleavened Bread was instituted forty years after the passing over of the Israelites in Egypt on Abib 14, but was given to Moses by God while yet in Egypt. Christ is or was symbolized by the blood of the Lamb; who by His death and resurrection was the first fruit of many brethren. The wave sheaf represented the many brethren that God was, has, and is calling. These will be in the in the truest sense the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ at His return, believe it or not. The wave sheaf did not represent Christ, the lamb did. Leviticus 23, We are to celebrate the feast of Unleavened Bread seven days as a memorial of the Exodus from Egypt. The children of Israel was the first fruits of God's chosen people. Later divided into many nations; the people of these many nations was and still are represented by the small hand full of the grain in the wave sheaf. The charts below will show the error of the weekly Sabbath doctrine.
Leviticus 23:14, "And ye shall eat neither bread nor parched corn nor green ears, until the self same day that ye have brought an offering unto your God. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings."

From a brother Christ's Credibility
The apostle John was the one who loved Christ deeply
and the one Christ also loved deeply. John was the one Christ entrusted
the care of His aging mother after His death. Most likely, John
was Christ's confidant. John was the one Christ revealed the mysteries
of God to. The messages to the churches, the redemption of the masses
in a second resurrection. The setting up of God the Father's worldly
kingdom (of which few understand or believe). The point is if you
do not believe what John wrote about Christ; and you do not believe
what Christ said; and you do not believe He was who He said He was:
that He was the exact image of God, and was in the beginning with
the one we call the Father. Why in the world do you go to church?
Call yourselves Christians, build all those huge churches?(mostly
for vanity) Do you really understand the futility of this facad
and ritual you are going through? If you don't believe Christ and
His teachings and His immortality; and that He was the God who walked
the earth before He became physical: then there is no hereafter
and we are just like the dog rover, we are dead all over. Wake up
people or throw your Bible away and quit being hypocrites. Our image,
Genesis 1, "And God said let us make a man in our image."
Verse 27, "So God created man in His image, in the image of
God created he him, male and female." Genesis 3:22, "And
the Lord God said, behold the man is become as one of us..."
Chapter 11:5, "the Lord came down to see the city and tower."
Verse 7, "Let us go down and confound their language..."
Verse 8, "So the Lord scattered them..." The God who did
the creating and walked and talked to man was the Lesser or number
2, God of the God head. The God who emptied Himself of His majesty
and power and became a fetus with no power and was born of a woman
and became human. II Corithians 4:4, Christ who is the image of
God. Colossians 1:15 (Christ) who is the image of the invisible
God. Chapter 3:10, the new man (human) which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of Him (Christ) that created Him. Hebrews 1; in
different times and different ways was the Greater God, the one
we call Father spoke to us through angels, prophets, the word, and
in the last days by His Son-by whom also He made the world (showing
Christ was the Creator) Verse 9, "God even thy God hath annointed
thee (Christ) with the oil of gladness above thy fellows..."
Verse 10, "And thou Lord in the beginning hast laid the foundation
of the earth, and the heavens are the workds of thine hands."
John 5:37, "and the Father Himself which hath sent bore witness
of me." "You have neither heard His voice at anytime nor
seen His shape..." John 1:1, "In the beginning was the
Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Verse
2, "The same was in the beginning with God." Verse 3,
"All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything
made that was made." Verse 10, "He (Christ) was in the
world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not."
Verse 18,"No man hath seen God at anytime, The only begotten
Son which in the bosom of the Father, He(Christ) has declared Him."
Chapter 11:30, "I and my Father are one." Verse 38, "the
Father is in me and I in him." (same mind) Chapter 14:10, "I
am in the Father and the Father in me." Verse 11, "...I
am in the Father and the Father in me." Both Gods are of one
mind and one accord. If you don't believe what Paul wrote about
Christ in the book of Hebrews (if Paul did write Hebrews), the gospel
of John; the book of Revelation: then just tear them out of your
Bible and go worship some false gods. Does this make you angry?
I really hope so. This doctrine of an ever burning hell where your
god sends people to be tortured forever is no loving god, but more
henious than Hitler or Sadam Hussein. But thanks to the real Gods;
that doctrine along with many other man-made doctrines is a humongous
lie. John 3:16, "For God so love the world that He gave His
only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have an everlasting life." (perish means to cease to exist)
God predestined all of those He was going to call
to become His elect in this dispensation of time before He recreated
the world as we know it now. He said He would call many, but would
only choose a few. This few will be His elect who will rule with
Him a thousand years and with Him, and the Father for all eternity.
Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good
to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose."
Verse 29, "For whom He did foreknow He also did predestinate
to be conformed to the image of His Son that He might be the firstborn
among many brethren." Verse 30, "Moreover whom He did
predestinate them He also called; and whom He called, them He also
justified, and whom He justified them He also glorified."
Ephesians 1:5, "Having predestinated us unto
the adoption of children by Christ Himself, according to the good
pleasure of His will." Verse 11, "In whom also we have
obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose
of Him who worked all things after the counsel of His own will."
The rest of the human race will be in the second resurrection; and
the ones' whom He calls His sheep will live on this earth in a physical
body forever. The ones' He calls goats be cast in the lake of fire
and be consumed and be ashes under the feet of the righteous. The
people of this world cannot understand this in their fleshly mind;
but this is also part of God's plan. Many people desire to know
the mysteries of God as Christ said; but it is not their time, in
this dispensation of time. Read Matthew 13:10-17 and pray for understanding.
Verse 10, "And the disciples came and said unto Him(Christ),
'Why speakest thou unto them in parables?" Verse 11, "He
answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know
the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven but to them it is not given."
(the multitudes) Verse 12, "For whosoever hath, to him shall
be given, and he shall have more abundance, but whosoever hath not
from him shall be taken away, even that he hath." Verse 13,
"Therefore speak I to them in parables: Because they seeing,
see not, and hearing they hear not. Neither do they understand."
Verse 14, "And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias
which saith, by hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand,
and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive." Verse 15,
"For this peoples' heart is waxed gross, and their ears are
dull of hearing and their eyes they have closed, least at any time
they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should
understand with their heart, and be converted and I should heal
them." Verse 16, "But blessed are your eyes for they see,
and your ears for they hear." Verse 17, "For verily, I
say unto you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to
see those things which you see and have not seen them, and to hear
those things which ye hear and have not heard them." In this
dispensation of time only God's elect are given the mysteries of
the kingdom of God; and if you really understood these scriptures
10-17 of John 13, you would realize this is one of God's greatest
blessings; and when your time comes, you will understand. And if
you truly belong to God, your time will come.
Try to understand that His flock is a little flock
in this dispensation of time. In the judgement period, the little
flock will be as the mustard seed that grew into a huge tree; and
in the judgement period, the little flock who will become spirit
beings when Christ comes will cause and will teach the multitudes
who will be as the huge mustard tree. As Christ said in His own
words; that it is His will that all will be saved and percentage
wise in the physical second resurrection, most will be. Many people
are taught; and thus believe in the false doctrine of a secret rapture
and a secret carrying to heaven. Many people who are deceived by
man's false doctrines believe that when Christ comes and gathers
His elect: that they are the only people who will be saved. This
is totally wrong; if this belief were true, what will be the point
of a judgement if all mankind is already judged? Some sent to heaven,
the rest to hell to be tortured for all eternity. Also if this false
doctrine were true, why would there be a second resurrection and
the cleansing of the heavens and earth; making them new like in
the original creation before satan's rebellion: and the battle between
God's angels and satan's demons that literally tore the earth apart
as can be seen by everyone who can see. The earth will be restored
to its original condition like it was when the great creatures walked
the earth for a time beyond man's comprehension. These mysteries
and unnumberable more will, after the judgement, be made known to
man. Until then, we only faintly see through a dark glass the beauty
that lies beyond this dispensation of time, man's mind cannot phantom.
In the beginning (how many eons of time, no one knows), there were
two Gods. The Greater (the Holy of Holy). The Lesser (the Holy).
The Greater was the God who was the Designer, who designed the universe
and everything in it (much as in our world we call the architect).
The Lesser God was the Builder, who created everything with the
power of His mind (His Holy Spirit), which was the tool He used
to do the creating. The Lesser God came and walked the earth in
personage of Melchisedek. Hebrews 5:6 and 10, chapter 6:20; Genesis
14:18 and 19; Psalm 110:4; These scriptures and the profound truth
of them is almost beyond human reasoning; but were it not true,
we would have no hope beyond this life. Hebrews 5:6, "As He
said also in another place, Thou are a priest forever after the
order of Melchisedek." Verse 10, "called of God an High
priest after the order of Melchisedek." (Paul) of whom we have
many things to say and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of
hearing. Chapter 6:19, "Which hope we have as an anchor of
our soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that
within the veil." Verse 20, "Whither the forerunner is
for us entered, even Jesus made an high priest forever after the
order of Mechisedek." Chapter 7:1, "For this Melchisedek,
king of Salem priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning
from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him." Verse 2,
"To whom Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first by interpretation
King of righteous, and after that also king of Salem which is king
of peace." Verse 3, "Without father, without mother, without
decent having neither beginning of days nor end of life; but made
like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually." Verse
9, "And as I may so say, Levi also received tithes, paid tithes
in Abraham." Verse 10, "For he (Levi) was yet in the loins
of his father (Abraham) when Melchisedek met him." Verse 11,
"If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood (for
under it the people received the law) what further need was there
that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedek and
not called after the order of Aaron?" Verse 15, "And it
is yet far more evident, for that after the similitude of Melchisedek
there ariseth another priest." Verse 16, "Who is made,
not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of
an endless life." Verse 17, "For he testifieth, thou are
a priest forever after the order of Melchisedek." Verse 21,
"For those (carnal) priests were made without an oath, but
this with an oath by him that said unto him. The Lord sware and
will not repent, thou are a priest forever after the order of Melchisedek."
Genesis 14:18 and 19, "And Melchisedek king of Salem brought
forth bread and wine. And He was the priest of the Most High God.
And He blessed him and said, blessed be Abram of the Most High God,
possessor of heaven and earth." It may be hard for man to understand,
but Melchisedek was the Lesser of the two Gods and walked the earth
in human form in the dispensation of time of the old testament.
It was He who talked to Adam and Eve in the garden: the one who
put the curse on the serpent; and as you read, He was the one who
walked, talked, partied, and blessed Abram who He later changed
Abram's name to Abraham. Psalm 110:4, "The Lord has sworn and
will not repent: Thou are a priest forever after the order of Melchisedek."
At the end of the old testament era; the Lesser God who was Melchisedek
by His own order emptied Himself of His majesty and power and became
a powerless fetus, who through the power of His Holy Spirit (the
power of His mind). The Greater God (who we now call the Father)
implanted the fetus (that had been the Lesser God) into the womb
of a virgin woman called Mary. This is how and why the Lesser God
or Melchisedek became now known as the Son of God. Unbelievable,
maybe, but true. You cannot limit the power of these two Gods. By
becoming the physical Son of the Most High God, He became the firstborn
of many brothers and sisters. At His resurrection by the mind power
of the Most High God; the molecular structure of Christ's body was
changed from physical to spirit. At His ascention back to heaven,
He received all power in heaven and earth and the majesty He gave
up to redeem us from eternal death. And now sits at the right hand
of the Most High God, awaiting the order of His and our Heavenly
Father to return to earth to establish His earthly kingdom of which
He will relinquish to the Father after all sin and death has been
cast into the lake of fire where the false prophets, satan, and
his demons are. I Corithians 15:24, "Then cometh the end when
He (Christ) shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the
Father when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and
power." Verse 28, "And when all things shall be subdued
unto him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto him that
put all things under him, that God may be all in all." There
are things in the scripture that are self-evident and easy to understand;
there are many other scriptures that are hard and some impossible,
others that as Paul says we only see faintly as through a shaded
glass. Christ succeded in redeeming the human race and defeating
satan by living a sinless life and then dying a sinless death. One
of many things not known or understood by carnal man is the existence
of two Holy Spirits. The Holy of Holy Spirits of the God we now
call Father and the Holy Spirit of Christ. The Holy Spirit of the
Lesser God who became Christ created the world, raised the dead,
healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, defeated satan, and many
other miracles. When the disciples were in the upper room, hiding
from the Jews; He appeared unto them eventhough the doors were locked;
He breathed upon them and gave them of His Holy Spirit: His power
to heal the sick, raised the dead, as Paul did when the young man
who fell out of the upper window. The Holy Spirit of God's begotten
Son was given after His resurrection before His ascention to the
Father (which He called the comforter) could not come until He went
to heaven. John 14:26, chapter 16:7. The Holy Spirit of the Father
was the power that raised Christ from the dead, it was by His power
that impregnated in the womb of Mary with the fetus of the Lesser
God; who by the order of Melchisedek emptied Himself of all power
and majesty to become a human. The God we call Father sent His Holy
of Holy Spirit to the disciples on the day of Pentecost. There are
two Holy Spirits, believe it or not. These and many other mysteries
of God will be given to God's elect at the coming of Christ when
He returns to earth to set up His kingdom. You see, there is a divine
law that no two objects can occupy the same space at the same time.
The Holy Spirit of Christ had to be removed from the earth so the
Holy Spirit of the Father could come. When the Greater God comes
(our Father and Christ's Father), the kingdom that will be set up
by Christ when He comes, the power will be given to the Father and
we along with Christ will be God's literal sons and daughters or
as the scriptures says that we will be many brethren of Christ who
was the firstborn of many brethren.
So people, who are you going to believe? The word
of God and the Bible or the many ignorant preachers and writers
of thousands of private opinion who themselves have not come to
the knowledge of truth? The knowledge and the amount of truth and
understanding God has given is but a small portion of what will
be given to His elect when Christ returns; but until then, we will
be ever learning by the grace of God and coming to the knowledge
of the truth. The word ignorant simply means unlearned. May the
power that comes from the throne of God on High enlighten all of
you who are sincere.
Read carefully what we call the Lord's prayer, and
then ask yourself why did Christ ask us to pray for God's kingdom
to come to the earth? Think about it.
Thank you,
Pastor Elbert

A Very Profound Scripture
John 3:1-21, Christ's conversation with Nicodemus show how little
so called leaders really understand about God and Christ. Most preachers
and writers of the great commentators: those who teach in the Bible
colleges really do not believe what Christ said, or do not understand
but professs to do so. I am sure this article will anger some, if
not most of the above. Most preachers are sincere in what they believe
and teach; but most also will come under the application given unto
them by Christ Himself in Matthew 7:21-23. Verse 21, "Not everyone
that saith unto me, Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven,
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is heaven." Verse
22, "Many will say to me in that day Lord Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils (demons)
and in thy name done many wonderful works?" Verse 23, "And
then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me,
ye that work iniquity." Do you understand what He is saying?(I
think not) The word iniquity means lawlessness. The lawlessness
He is referring to is breaking His Holy Sabbath(the seventh day
of the week), not keeping His annual Holy Days but keeping the pagan
holidays like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Valentine: These are
all pagan celebrations polished up to deceived the world into observing
them. Revelation 12:9, "The devil has the whole world deceive."
There is a great false church in this world and a far greater conspiracy;
that if I told you, it would blow the minds of all who would believe.(so
not now) John 3:5, "Jesus answered (Nicodemus), Verily, verily,
I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the spirit
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." Verse 6, "That
which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the
spirit is spirit." Verse 7, "Marvel not that I said unto
thee, ye must be born again." Verse 8, "The wind bloweth
where it listeth and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not
tell whence it cometh and whither it goeth, so is everyone that
is born of the spirit." Do you understand what Christ said?(I
think not) There is only one human that has truly been born again;
that is that the molecular structure of his body has been changed
from flesh to spirit: that one person was Christ. When a human is
so called converted and accepts Christ, he is then only begotten
of the spirit, he is not yet born of the spirit. When a woman becomes
pregnant, that human baby is only begotten not yet born; so were
you, only begotten when you were conceived by God's spirit; just
as by the spirit of God the Father was Christ conceived in the womb
of the virgin Mary, but was not yet born. John 3:9, "Nicodemus
answered and said unto Him, How can these things be?" Verse
10, "Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Art thou a master of
Israel and knowest not these things?" Verse 11, "Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know and testify that
we have seen and you receive not our witness." Verse 12, "I
have told you earthly things and you believe not, how shall you
believe if I tell you of heavenly things." The visiable leaders
and the followers of the great false church do not know they are
false and are teachings false doctrines; but the sinister conspiters
know full well what they are doing and using this great organization
to accomplish their goals. In the very near future the prophesy
in Deuteronomy 28 shall begin to be fulfilled by the religious occasion
that is soon to happen. Deuteronomy 28:43, "The stranger that
is within thee shall get up above very high and thou shall come
down very low." Verse 44, "He shall lend to you, and thou
shalt not lend to him. He shall be the head and you shall be the
tail." Verse 45, "Moreover all these curses shall come
upon thee, till thou be destroyed, because thou hearkened not unto
the voice of the Lord thy God to keep His commandments and His statutes
which He commanded thee." Be wise and read and study the whole
chapter because the seed will be planted very soon. (This is all
I can tell you now) John 3:13, "And no man hath ascended up
to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man
which is in heaven." Do you believe what He said?(I think not)
Verse 14, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of man be lifted up." (crucified on the
tree) Verse 15, "That whosoever believeth in him should not
perish (cease to exist) but have eternal life." By His stripes
we were healed from eternal death. Eternal death is to be cast alive
in the lake of fire and consumed not tortured for eternity (that
is a lie). No man shall enter into God's kingdom from fear; only
from un-adulterated love for God the Father and His Son, the Christ.
Verse 16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish
but have an everlasting life." Verse 17, "For God sent
not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved." Verse 18, "He that believeth
in Him is not condemned." But he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God." Verse 19, "And this is the condemnation,
that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather
than light because their deeds were evil." Verse 20, "For
everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the
light, lest his deeds should be reproved." Verse 21, "But
he that doeth truth cometh to the light that his deeds may be made
manifest that they are wrought in God." We have been taught
so many things that are wrong for so long, it is hard to accept
the truth. But the truth is, if you don't believe in Christ and
what He said, why go to a building called a church and pretend?
May God our Father and our Brother, His Son bless all who are earnestly
seeking the truth and willing to admit when they are wrong in the
name of God and His Son.

Food for
Thought
A man tells a lie and repeats it over and over, eventually he comes
to believe his own lie as the truth. To him, his lie is real. He
in truth brain washes himself. When we are told and practices a
doctrine, over time we are going to believe it as the truth, and
it is very hard to believe the real truth when it is told to us.
Sometimes, we never will accept the truth no matter how much proof
we are shown. Case in point, the Pentecost. The doctrine of counting
Pentecost from a weekly Sabbath that occurs during the Feast of
Unleavened Bread. In the Masoretic text, it states in Leviticus
23:9 (key), "The Lord spoke to Moses saying, (verse 10) 'Speak
to the Israelite people and say to them: When you enter the land
that I am giving to you and you reap its harvest you shall bring
the first sheaf of your harvest to the priest." Verse 11, "He
shall elevate the sheaf before the Lord for acceptance in your behalf.
The priest shall elevate it on the day after the Sabbath."
Verse 12, "On the day that you elevate the sheaf you shall
offer as a burnt offering to the Lord a lamb of the first year without
blemish." Verse 13, "The meal offering with it shall be
two tenths of a measure of choice flour with oil mixed in, an offering
by fire of pleasing odor to the Lord, and the libation with it shall
be of wine a quarter of a hin." Verse 14, "Until that
very day until you have brought the offering of your God you shall
eat no bread or parched corn or fresh ears, it is a law for all
time throughout the ages in all your settlements." Verse 15,
"And from the day on which you bring the sheaf of elevation
offering, the day after the Sabbath you shall count off seven weeks.
They must be complete." Verse 16, "You must count until
the day after the seventh week fifty days then you shall bring an
offering of new grain to the Lord."
The Septuagint- Leviticus 23:9 (key), "And the Lord spoke
to Moses saying", Verse 10 "Speak to the children of Israel
and thou shalt say to them: When ye shall enter into the land which
I give you, and reap the harvest of it, then shall ye bring a sheaf,
the first fruits of your harvest to the priest." Verse 11,
"And he shall lift up the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted
for you on the morrow of the first day the priest shall lift it
up." (verse 12), "And ye shall offer on the day on which
you bring the sheaf a lamb without blemish of a year old for a whole
burnt offering to the Lord." Verse 13, "And its meat offering
two tenths portions of fine flour mingled with oil. It is a sacrifice
to the Lord, and its drink offering the fourth part of a hin of
wine." Verse 14, "And you shall not eat bread or new parched
corn until the same day until ye offer the sacrifice to your God
it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your
dwellings." Verse 15, "And you shall number to yourselves
from the day after the Sabbath from the day on which ye shall offer
the sheaf of the heave offering seven full weeks." Verse 16,
"Until the morrow after the last week ye shall number fifty
days and shall bring a new meat offering to the Lord."
Ah! Good old King James: Leviticus 23:10 (last part), "You
shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest unto the
priest." Leviticus 23:11, "And he shall wave the sheaf
before the Lord to be accepted for you, on the morrow after the
Sabbath the priest shall wave it." Verse 14, "And you
shall eat neither bread nor parched corn nor green ears until the
self same day that ye have brought an offering unto God. It shall
be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings."
Verse 15, "And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after
the Sabbath from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offerings
seven Sabbath shall be complete." Verse 16, "Even unto
the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days
and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord."
N.I.V. Leviticus 23:14, "You must not eat any bread or roasted
or new grain until the very day you bring this offering to your
God, this is a lasting ordinance for the generation to come wherever
you live." The verse says seven full weeks. Verse 16 says the
seventh Sabbath.
The New American Standard, Duay Reems, New American Catholic, The
Jerusalem Bible, The Hebrew-English Tanakh, Hendersons Interlinear
Old Testament: All basically say the same thing in Leviticus 23:14,
you cannot partake of the new harvest and celebrate the Feast of
Unleavened Bread until the wave sheaf is cut, brought to the priest
and waved before Gor for our acceptance. Now for the question. We
all know that the Passover can be on any day of a week, (right).
Suppose Passover is on a Sunday; Monday is a Sabbath, you can't
have the wave sheaf until the weekly Sabbath; so on Sunday after
the first weekly Sabbath during Unleavened Bread is when you can
have the wave sheaf offering; the Feast of Unleavened Bread is over,
so the year that Passover is on a Sunday, you can't eat any new
grain of your harvest; as a matter of fact the scriptures say it
is a law: a statute, an ordinance for ever; that you can't eat bread
or be accepted by God until the sheaf is offered. The greatest and
most thorough historian of Biblical and Jewish history is or was
Josephus. He was like many writers and preachers of our day, he
was long repeticious. Everybody doesn't have the book of Josephus.
Antiquities of the Jews, page 96 chapter 10 verse 5 and part of
verse 6 coded 248, 249, 250, 251, and 252. In the month of Xanthicus
which is by us called Nisan and is the beginning of our year on
the 14th day of the lunar month when the sun is in Aries (for this
is the month that we were delivered from bondage under the Egyptians
and law ordained that we should every year slay that sacrifice which
I before told you we slew when we came out of Egypt and was called
the Passover, and so we do celebrate this Passover in companies
leaving nothing of what we sacrifice until the following day. The
Feast of Unleavened Bread succeeds that of a Passover and falls
on the 15th day of the month and continues seven days wherein they
feed on Unleavened Bread. On everyone of which days two bulls are
killed and one ram and seven lambs. Now these lambs are entirely
burnt, besides the kid of the goats which is added to all the rest
for sins; for it is intended as a feast for the priest on everyone
those days. But on the second day of Unleavened Bread which is the
sixteenth day of the month; they first partake of the fruits of
the earth for before that day, they do not touch them and while
they suppose its proper to honor God from whom they obtain this
plentiful provision in the first place; they offer the first fruits
of their barley; and that in the manner following, they take a handful
of the ears and dry them then beat them small and purge the barley
from the bran; they then bring one tenth to the altar to God and
casting on handful of it upon the fire. They leave the rest for
the use of the priest. And after this, it is when they may publicly
or privately reap their harvest. They also at this participation
of the first fruits of the earth; sacrifice a lamb as a burnt offering
to God. When a week of weeks has passed over after this sacrifice
(which weeks contain forty nine days) on the fiftieth day which
is Pentecost, but is called by the Hebrews Asartha which signifies
Pentecost. They bring to God a loaf made of wheat flour of two tenths
deals with leaven and for sacrifices; they bring two lambs. This
article doesn't leave any room for argument about Passover being
on the 14th; Unleavened Bread being 15-21, and how you count Pentecost
and not being allowed to eat of the new harvest until after the
wave sheaf and God's acceptance. During the forty years of wandering
in the wilderness, the Israelites only observed the Passover one
time in the wilderness of Sinai; the Feast of Unleavened Bread was
instituted in the promise land forty years after leaving Egypt.
There was only one physical passing over and it occured around midnight
of Abib 14 in Egypt, the Passover:covering occured on the 14th of
Abib 31 A.D. When Christ died and became our Passover lamb and covered
all of your sins. And by His stripes healed us from eternal death,
not our physical ailments. By His stripes we were healed; not for
our daily healings, which we are to go to the ministers for the
laying of hands and prayers or to the elders. There have been many
long winded articles and sermons complicating many simple truths
in God's word. God's plan for the human race is a simple plan, but
requires our love and obedience to a few simple requirements that
sometimes seems hard to follow; but as always the truth sets us
free.
See if you can find Passover mentioned in any translation in the
instructions given in Leviticus 23:9-16 for observing the Feast
of Unleavened Bread:Sabbath here is the first day of Unleavened
Bread, not Passover. Passover is not a Holy day. There are many
keys to understanding scripture. In Leviticus 23, the main key to
understanding Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread is verse
9. These two events were forty years apart, although together in
God; giving Moses the instructions. If you are wise, you will understand
that eventhough verse 6 follows verse 5; there was a long span of
time between the two and a totally different meaning between them.
(I will leave eating of unleavened bread on Passover, and the six
days of eating unleavened bread in Deuteronomy 16:8 for another
article). King James, Deuteronomy 16:9, "Seven weeks shalt
thou number unto thee. Begin to number the seven weeks from such
time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn." Verse
10, "And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the Lord thy
God with a tribute of a free will offering of thine hand, which
thou shalt give unto the Lord thy God, according as the Lord thy
God hath blessed thee." Many times in the scriptures the word
Passover is used when in truth it should be Unleavened Bread; as
in the Septuagint in Deuteronomy 16:1 "Observe the month of
new corn and thou shalt sacrifice the passover." Because in
the month of new corn thou camest out of Egypt by NIGHT." Verse
2, "And thou shalt sacrifice the passover to the Lord thy God,
sheep and oxen in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose
to have His name called upon it." Verse 7, "And thou shalt
boil and roast and eat it in the place which the Lord thy God shall
choose." Anytime the word Passover is used to have a feast
that uses cattle and sheep at a place God uses to place His name
is not the Passover; but is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Passover
meal was and is to be a neighborhood event as were in Egypt; and
the Passover meal with Christ and His disciples on Abib 14, 31 A.D.
Why did He not have the meal at the temple with all His followers?
Think about it.
Deuteronomy 16:16 is a contradiction of terms. There are many instances
in the scriptures where the word Passover is used; but in reality
is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Also many instances where the
word Jew is mentioned; should be Isralites. All Jews are Israelites,
but all Israelites are not Jews.
God bless all who are honestly seeking the truth,

An Exercise
in Common Sense
Common Sense = intelligent human reasoning
and God-given wisdom
The Motive
Did you ever wonder why we believe what we believe?
At least once every month, I received articles from several different people or church groups, expressing their beliefs and opinions. Some are good about some of their beliefs, but most only have the scriptures that seem to prove their understanding at a particular point or belief and omit the ones that prove them wrong. For example; several articles show that Christ was crucified on the Passover day (which He was). But they also try to show that Passover and the Feast of Unleavened was the same, both being a Holy day. There are many scriptures that show this belief is wrong, but they are omitted from the article. I will just show three from the New Testament (There are many in the Old Testament). We all know or at least most of us know Christ was crucified on Passover day, as He was our Passover. King James Version-Matthew 16:5 says, "Not as the feast lest a disturbance occurs among the people." New American Standard says, "But they were saying not during the festival, least a riot occur among the people." N.I.V says, "But not during the Feast they said or there many be a riot among the people." In the first place Passover is not a Holy day. Mark 14:2, "But they said not on the Feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people." John 13:9, "For some of them thought because Judas had the bag that Jesus had said unto him, 'Buy those things that we have need of against the feast." This Passover meal was at the beginning of the 14th of Nisan or Abib. The next day was Passover day and Christ crucifixion and was also the preparation that the body should remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day (the next day), for that Sabbath day was a high day, the Feast of Unleavened Bread-the first annual Holy day of the year. Of course, none of these scriptures were used in the article. Another said that the Exodus only took three days and another article which claims Passover and the First Day of Unleavened Bread were the same day. Since his article proved that Passover was a Holy day, that cows could be used instead of sheep for a Passover meal. These articles and many more that are not true motivates me to search the scriptures as the Bereans did to learn the truth. Some of the articles are so absurd, they make me angry. So, I figured if they could make me go back to the Bible to prove them right or wrong, that I would put some stinging articles on the web. I don't ask anybody to believe me, just take the Bible and prove me wrong; just this much I ask, don't go to your preacher to find the truth, go instead to God in prayer and ask for His help in guiding you through the scriptures and if it His will and if so, He will. A lot of people watched the movie (The Passion of Christ), I don’t know where the movie maker got his information about Christ being beaten to a bloody pulp, he sure did not get it from the Bible; it’s just another one of those hand-me-down traditions fostered on the human race by the Catholic church. If you read carefully the scriptures in John, chapters 18 and 19. Note chapter 19:1, "Then Pilate therefore took Jesus and scourged Him." Verse 8, "When Pilate therefore heard that saying He was more afraid." Pilate’s wife had told him not to have anything to do with Christ as He was a just man (John 19:19-22). If these scriptures are correct, you will note that Pilate at the crucifixion wrote JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS, and put it on the (cross?) You will not find it in the Bible where Christ was beaten until His flesh was torn from the bones, like in the movie and preached from the pulpits by traditional preachers, IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! If something is not in the Bible, DON'T preach it! Common sense should tell people Pilate did NOT want to have Christ killed. Common sense should have people to ask the question, Why did not at least one of the disciples or one of the six hundred that saw Christ after His resurrection mentioned His pitiful torn apart body? It DIDN’T happen! Wake up people! And use some common sense instead of believing an absurd movie. Pilate would not have let Christ be beaten beyond a few stripes. He thought if he scourged Christ, it would satisfy the Jews, but of course, it didn’t. Is there any scriptures that says the Roman soldiers beat the two thieves that were crucified with Christ (I think not). Where were all the followers of Christ? I don’t see where any of them had anything to say about His appearance. Angry? Yes, I’m angry at man’s stupidity! How many of the tear-shedding people have started going to church on God’s Sabbath day or keeping more of His commandments, since shedding their tears? Do any of you know any? Some, if not all of our beloved evangelists praised the movie that shouldn’t come as any surprise; they have been preaching the doctrines of men from day one, so why not take it to the full. Leviticus 19:28, “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead nor print any marks upon you, I am the Lord.” Galatians 6:17 (Paul), “From henceforth, let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” Jesus Christ prayed to the Father to spare Him of suffering that had been prophesied, and God did. Christ knew He had to be scourged and die. Also in the prophesy of Isaiah in the Septuagint we read Esais 52:10, “The Lord also is pleased to purge Him from His stroke.” Verse 11, “The Lord also is pleased to take away from the travail of His soul to show Him light and to form Him with understanding to justify the just one who serves many well and He shall bear their sins.” If the Lord was pleased to purged (to rid, clear, or free) Christ from His stroke (an act or instance of striking, as with the fist or hammer, blow). And if the Father was pleased to take way the travail of His (Christ) soul (painfully difficult, pain, anguish, or suffering resulting from mental or physical hardship), God knew that he was going to answer Christ’s prayer, even before Christ prayed so profusely in the garden of Gethsemane the night before He was arrested. Anyone who wants to believe in the Catholic, Latin Vulgate, and Masoretic Text that were written several hundred years after Christ is of course free to do so.
Preachers and Teachers, don’t you think it would be wise that before you preach and teach, you should consider what the scriptures said in the beginning, instead of the man-made scriptures of the Masoretic Text. The translators admitted that they changed the wording to more conform to the Greek and English. The Septuagint is our oldest and best translation from the Hebrew to Greek; why not use it. You might be surprise to find how many discrepancies there are between it and, the Masoretic Text, used in the Latin vulgate and most of our modern translations. The Septuagint is nearly three thousand years old and was translated by seventy men who had no ax to grind, except to put it in the language of their day. But if you want to believe that God the Father did not answer His Son’s prayer and what the Septuagint says, then that’s your decision, but not a wise one.
